Red Robin

I can’t think of any better way to spend my weekend then with my 3 children and 6 grandchildren whenever possible. I have a new grandson coming in October so that will make 7 !

I like all kinds of music. I am a teen of the late 70’s – early 80’s, so I love everything AC/DC !

Definitely Bark. I have two dogs; Lady who is 10 and Wilfred who is just over a year.  Working from home 4 days a week gives me plenty of time to talk with them. They are both quite the roof truss specialists lol…

Hmm, my dream house would have to be something simple and welcoming but big. It would have to have several bedrooms and bathrooms so I could have plenty of room for my children and grandchildren to visit (or live with) me. I am a two time cancer survivor and my lifestyle and wants are very plain. I don’t put much emphasis on material things. I value and hold on dearly to my loved ones.

There are many things that I like best about working for Homestead. First and foremost I love having Dave Baird and Neal Scherer as my bosses. And Wade Ortgies is the best supervisor ever. The work atmosphere is very relaxed but professional and the moment I walked in the door 4 years ago I immediately felt like I was part of a team.  I admire the way they allow employees to move up from within and how they have continued to care about me throughout my time here. I love being a Roof Truss Designer, I love Homestead, and I love all my other Homestead co-workers. I can’t imagine working for a better company.
